Collect Payments
Close the Job.
Not the Risk.
Every payment creates risk that doesn’t end at checkout.
Comebacks, disputes, warranty questions, chargebacks, and the familiar “can you take another look” visit quietly cost shops time, money, and focus weeks—or even months—after the work is done.
When you accept payment through GarageTouch, that risk shifts away from your shop. Your warranty remains in place, while GarageTouch adds extended protection for the customer, documents the service directly to the vehicle, and steps in when questions or issues arise. The 30% fee isn’t just for payment processing—it exists to prevent the much larger losses that occur when responsibility stays open after the vehicle leaves your bay.
GarageTouch helps you close the job cleanly, protect your margins, and avoid long‑tail problems many shops only recognize after they’ve already paid for them.

The service fee funds a complete transaction and protection system:

Centralized billing and payment processing

Verified service records tied to the vehicle

Member rewards and loyalty infrastructure

Dispute handling and transaction support

24-month / 12,000-mile Service Warranty on services paid through GarageTouch

You’re paying for clean transactions, reduced post-service friction, and member protection—not exposure.

For most shops, growth usually means:

Paying for marketing that doesn’t convert cleanly

Spending admin time on scheduling, updates, and follow-ups

Chasing payments or absorbing chargebacks

Handling disputes that burn time and goodwill

GarageTouch consolidates those costs into a single operating layer.
The 30% Service Fee funds:

Owned demand (members and fleets, not paid leads)

Vehicle-level routing that reduces bad jobs

Human Service Advisors who prevent and resolve issues

Closed-loop payments with automatic payout

For many providers, the net economics are comparable—or better—than acquiring and servicing the same work independently,
with significantly less overhead and risk.

This is not a markup on your work.
It’s the cost of running the system that keeps the work clean.

The Service Fee is fixed to ensure the system operates consistently across vendors. Variable or negotiated fees would reintroduce marketplace dynamics, which this model is designed to avoid.
GarageTouch collects payment from the customer and automatically pays you net of the Service Fee. There is no separate invoice, remittance, or monthly billing.
If pricing were ever adjusted, it would be communicated clearly in advance. GarageTouch Service Providers are not locked into long-term contracts and retain full control over participation.
